Baby Boomers Beware

Not that I had not seen how nursing homes operated in the past, but it was just that in the distant past.  With all that was going on in my life at the time, I had no time to digest how ineffiencient this industry actually is and there needs to be something done.

So they want to kill the bill?

The Washington Post's Ezra Klein doesn't see it that way, and counters by saying that while the bill "that looks likely to clear the Senate this week is not very close to the health-care bill most liberals want... it is very close to the health-care bill that Barack Obama promised."

Health Care in America

Last night the President of the United States once again addressed the nation and once again had to reiterate what he said all through the campaign and continues to tell Congress that a health care plan has to be in place for all Americans. Congress should not take a recess, vacation or whatever else they take in August. If they cannot come together and vote on a plan to benefit Americans, Americans that for the most part cannot afford a vacation, then they should not have a vacation. The amount of money that is wasted in this country is appalling, therefore it may be a good idea while they are working out the details for a good program, they appoint a committee to work on the amount of money that is wasted in this country.

President Obama conveyed one of the main problems in the health care system and that is the many tests that are given one patient because the right hand cannot tell the left hand what is going on. You would think with modern technology that the results of a test could be emailed to each doctor from the very first test and they are all notified at once.

Padding the bill has been a huge factor in the medical industry and this results in everyone paying higher premiums. There are countless reasons why the premiums are so high and perhaps anyone reading this blog can share their thoughts.

The month is nearing an end and if Congress does not come up with a solution, then shame on them. My solution for them is to cancel their contracts by voting them out of office and let those that are now out of work go shopping for health care.

Every American that does not have a decent health care plan should have their finger on the telephone key pad calling their representatives or emailing them expressing their concerns and warning them that they may be out of work come next election day.
